Many Shrewsbury Township residents have on-lot sewage disposal systems. These systems must be maintained to prevent costly repairs. This document provides a guide for maintaining these systems for homeowners.
All septic tanks in all systems shall be pumped out at a minimum regular interval of once every 4 years in accordance with the applicable ordinance.
Please contact the sewage enforcement officer prior to making any repairs or installing any sewage system.
